Official Donation page for the Chi Phi fraternity.  In order to earn a spot in the tournament bracket, we need to raise more money than other teams! All proceeds go to the Autism Alliance of Michigan, a non-profit that is dedicated to raising awareness for autism in Michigan, providing community-based training and assisting families to connect with high-quality resources and services across the state.
Over the past two years our chapter was able to raise over $12,000 for the Autism Alliance,  we appreciate the continued generosity and hope to raise even more this year!
Do it for the kids.

Winterfest is an annual tradition at the University of Michigan where fraternities and sororities build an ice rink and compete in a broomball tournament. The event has attracted close to 3,000 spectators in past years and in 2017 we raised an astounding $110,000 for the Autism Alliance of Michigan and set a new record for U of M greek life!

This year, the brothers of Alpha Sigma Phi, who host the event with the help of Pi Kappa Alpha, are determined to break not only our own record from last year, but the national fundraising record for all fraternities and sororities - which is $132,000. The event is scheduled to take place on January 27th, 2018.

Given Greek life's recent troubles and campus-wide suspension, we believe that setting the national record with Winterfest 2018 will provide the momentum that our community needs to get off to a fresh start in a positive direction. All of this is only possible with the generous support of our community members and friends (you!).

And more importantly than any of this is the impact that your donation will have on thousands of families across the State of Michigan with children who have been diagnosed with autism. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Autism Alliance of Michigan, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of all who are affected by autism. AAoM effectively delivers resources to families in need, passionately advocates for autism at all levels of government, and creatively aids both public and private organizations in training for more appropriate interaction with those affected by autism.

Since AAoM has started its mission, the State of Michigan has gone from being ranked amongst the worst 15 states for resources for individuals with Autism to ranking in the top 5 today!

Past Winterfest events have raised over $200,000 for AAoM cumulatively and funds have specifically gone toward eliminating the waitlist for families seeking life-saving GPS devices for their children with autism.
